People Powered Transportation: Spiderman Edition

Today on my way to work I was listening to the radio (94.7 if you’re interested), and I heard the morning DJ, Greg, talking about a 13-year old student at Cambridge University (yes, you read that right!) who developed his own Spiderman suit using vacuums. Check out this youtube video of him walking on a wall!
Fun as this looks, I’m not into testing proto-types myself. I’m gonna wait till Honda releases one =) In the meantime, go little Hibiki, go!
PS. Hibiki is obviously a professional, so don’t try this at home….

He could probably make it to the the top if he had an extension cord.
I question how sustainable this solution really is…when would we need to scale a building? I guess when the ice caps melt and the world is flooded…
