Bike Works Summer Cycle Celebration

Join Bike Works in celebrating cycling, summer, and our community! In conjunction with Seattle Parks & Recreation’s Bicycle Sunday on August 29th, we will be throwing a party complete with bicycle games and contests, music and entertainment, demonstrations and more! The event will bring all sorts of people together for a fun afternoon, and we’ll have a little bit of something for everyone. There will be music and entertainment interspersed with cycling demos and exhibits, and we will also have some fun bicycle contests and rodeo games.

Festivities include the Adventure School’s spin art bike, Totcycle’s competitive family bike obstacle course, Coffee Jitters Alleycat finish-line party (see below for information on the race and how to sign-up), Bike Works T-shirt design contest (more information below on how to submit a design), bicycle-blended smoothies, BMX demos, and bike rodeo and carnival games! There will also be music, including performances from the Toy Boats and MoZo, and free food! Sounds pretty fun, eh?
