Lead planner for the Miles Crossing/Jeffers Garden Refinement Plan and the Rockaway Beach Transportation Plan. Working on various chapters for the California High Speed Rail Draft Environmental Impact Statement, and one of the transportation planners on the Hawaii Statewide Pedestrian Master Plan.
BIO: I am a transportation planner with CH2M HILL’s Transportation Business Group in Portland, Oregon with over 3 years of experience in public involvement, planning projects, and Environmental Impact Statement Reports. I joined CH2M HILL as an intern while I finished my Masters in Urban and Regional Planning at Portland State University. I am active in the Women’s Transportation Seminar Portland Chapter and am working to become a certified planner. I am interested in Transit, Context Sensitive Solutions, and working with communities to create lasting and relevant transportation plans. I am a returned Peace Corps Volunteer, and spent two years teaching English in rural Kazakhstan, which sparked my interest in transportation and planning. I enjoy traveling and interacting with different people and cultures.
