BIO: In 2008 I completed my Ph.D. in Ecology with a climate change focus.  I started working in the Transportation Business Group at CH2M HILL that same year, and have had the opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects, including getting in on the ground floor of the California High-Speed Train Project, one of the most unique projects and best transportation work opportunities of this generation.  As awareness of climate change slowly translates into action and projects, I have become more involved in understanding how climate change will impact infrastructure – especially transportation infrastructure.  I’m now working with some of the country’s top adaptation specialists here at CH2M HILL.  I am looking forward to playing a part in the coming effort to help cities and countries deal with the vulnerabilities and risk to important facilities that will soon be making their way onto jurisdictional radar screens!
