Projects: Some of the projects I have worked on include the FHWA Sustainable Highways Self-Evaluation Tool, the Sustainable Transportation Access Rating System (STARS), and the Salem Alternate Modes Study. I served as the lead author for the Energy Technical Report for the Salem River Crossing DEIS and also wrote the energy portion of the St. Louis Trolley EA. Currently I am working as the lead planner on the Eugene Transportation System Plan and the Salem Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan.

BIO: I am a transportation planner with CH2M HILL in Portland, OR with experience in bicycle and pedestrian planning projects, sustainability, and conducting energy analyses for NEPA documents. My background is in local climate action planning, climate planning research, and environmental policy and education. Currently, I am young member of the Transportation Research Board’s (TRB) Special Task Force on Energy and Climate Change and am also an active volunteer in the Portland Chapter of the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS). I hold a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University and received my BA from UCLA. I am interested in finding creative ways to reduce transportation-related carbon emissions, while creating more livable, sustainable, and healthful communities.
