BIO: Raz Godelnik is an eco entrepreneur and a great believer in the power of “green” business to bring about positive change. Raz was one of the founders of Hemper Jeans, an eco-fashion jeans company that worked on creating fashionable jeans made of hemp. As of 2007, Raz is the CEO of Eco-Libris, a “green” company he co-founded with a mission to “green up” the book industry.

Raz is teaching at The University of Delaware‘s Department of Business Administration a course on Sustainability and Green Business. He writes extensively on issues of interest to “green” business and is a regular contributor on “green” business for Ma’ariv, the second-largest newspaper in Israel.

Raz has experience in both financial management and business development and is a former advisor to the Israeli Minister of the Interior. He holds a BA in Communications and Economics from the Hebrew University and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
